In order to keep the Stoney Creek Community better informed, we will be providing a week at a glance for each week to feature events that families might need reminders about and to keep everyone up-to-date on what’s happening each week. School Supply Lists can be found on the school website here. If you want to order through Creative Packs, click here for ordering information – order before July 1st to have your supplies delivered to the school for free in August
Lost or Damaged Book Fees – parents if you have received a School Cash fee, please submit payment by the end of this week.
Are You Moving? – We are well into planning for September. It is very helpful for us to know about families who do not plan to attend Stoney Creek Community School in September.
If you are definitely moving this summer, please let us know by emailing franca.spartano@burnabyschools.ca with the following information:
-child’s name, grade, and current teacher name
-the name of the new school or school district
North Burnaby Community Fair – Save the date for this family-friendly fair, organized by the North-East Interagency Committee. It will take place on Thursday, September 12th at Cameron Elementary. Click here for more details.

Fun Rec Spaces Available – Registration is open and spaces are available for the Summer Fun Rec Day Camps at Stoney Creek. Click here to access their registration page. For families in need of subsidies please note the following:
1) The Burnaby Camping Bureau provides subsidies for Burnaby children from low income households to attend a week of summer day camp. Please click here to view more details. To book an appointment or find out additional information, please call 604.299.5778.
2) Stoney Creek Community Office has created a request form for families that wish to inquire about ADDITIONAL SOURCES (other than the Camping Bureau mentioned above) for financial support to assist in registering your child(ren) for a 2024 Summer Camp program.
