Stoney Creek’s Volunteer Tea Recognition – Please RSVP – The Stoney Creek staff would like to thank all of our parents and community members who have volunteered throughout the school year! Whether you drove, participated in family reading, helped out events, supervised on field trips, helped with special events, served pizza and subway, sorted books, served breakfast, fundraised, participated at Council meetings, ran movie nights, installed our fish fence art and much more…we appreciate all that our parents and community does to support our school and our students. A staple in the Stoney Creek Community since 1982, our beloved community camp offers a fun, active, and engaging summer for children in Grades K–7, with themed weeks, creative activities, and exciting weekly out-trips. Pride Celebration at Stoney Creek Community School – Families are warmly invited to join us for our celebration on Wednesday, June 10th in the afternoon. This event is all about community, inclusion, and celebrating the beautiful diversity that makes our school such a vibrant place. We will begin the afternoon with a short assembly at 1:10pm and then students will walk around the community (see route here). Students are encouraged to wear their favorite color that day and lots of it (for example if they have a yellow shirt and yellow pants). We look forward to celebrating with you.”
