BPL Summer Reading – Join the free Summer Reading Club for kids of all ages at Burnaby Public Library! Registration starts on Monday, June 15 at any BPL location or you can sign up online. Read anything, anywhere, any way, and in any language. Being read to also counts!
Check out activities for kids at the library this summer at all locations.
At the end of the summer kids can come in for their Summer Reading Club medals!

The Summer Fun Pass for children and youth aged 5–18 returns this summer and provides unlimited access to a variety of drop-in activities across the city’s recreational facilities, including outdoor pools, for $20+GST. This pass allows for a range of activities from swimming to fitness classes and basketball, ensuring a fun-filled summer to keep children and youth active. Valid from June 26 to September 8, 2026, exclusively for Burnaby residents. Some activities may have age restrictions.
