Halloween is traditionally a very fun and festive day which brings the school community together. We have a few things that we would like our families to keep in mind this year as this season approaches. Your child’s teacher may be sending home more specifics, but here are some general guidelines we would like you to follow:
- If you are sending goodies to school for sharing, we ask that they not be ‘treats’ and that they be more nutritious in nature
- They also must be individually packaged and sealed as food sharing is not permitted
- Teachers will be handing these out at the end of the day for students to take home
- Costumes should not make light of anyone’s religious, cultural, ethnic or racial group (Poster-Culture-is-Not-a-Costume)
