Parent Workshop @ Stoney – Reading Strategies to help your children read at home: Families are invited to join our District Literacy Intervention Teacher, Kathryn Martone, on Thursday, May 21st from 9:15 am – 9:45 am for a parent workshop focused on supporting children’s reading at home. This informal and engaging session will share simple, practical strategies to help build your child’s confidence and skills as a reader. NEBCA Summer Fun Rec Camp Registration is Open! A staple in the Stoney Creek Community since 1982, our beloved community camp offers a fun, active, and engaging summer for children in Grades K–7, with themed weeks, creative activities, and exciting weekly out-trips. Family Movie Night May 29 – the Community Council has planned the final movie night of the school year. Join us for Dog Man on Friday, May 29th! Doors open at 6:00 pm, showtime at 6:30 pm in the School Gym. Tickets can be ordered on munchalunch (click on “Movie Night!” from top menu options) The Council is requesting volunteers to help at the event – you can also sign up for this on munchalunch while ordering tickets.
NOTE: Parents/adult guardians are expected to attend with their child(ren)
