Support Burnaby Mountain Secondary’s Relay For Life Event

Dear Stoney Creek Elementary School,

Burnaby Mountain Secondary School is proud to be hosting our very first Relay For Life event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. This marks a meaningful milestone for our school community, and we are thrilled to be the first high school in our district to organize such a large-scale event. Our students and staff are passionate about making a difference, and your support would mean a great deal to us as we launch this important initiative.

Our event will take place on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Burnaby Mountain Secondary. Relay For Life is an important opportunity to fund life-saving cancer research, provide key support programs for those living with cancer, and make a difference in our local community.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will help raise awareness and make our event a success while supporting Canadians affected by cancer.

Why support Relay For Life?

  • 1 in 2 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and many more are impacted as caregivers, family, and friends.
  • Contributions help fund ground-breaking research, advocacy for healthier living, and support programs for those living with cancer.
  • Supporting youth-led events empowers students in our community and helps create a meaningful impact.

Here is the link that takes you directly to our school’s event and donation page: https://support.cancer.ca/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLY_NW_odd_?pg=entry&fr_id=31002

Your support, at any level, will make a tangible difference and be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for considering our request. Together, we can make a meaningful impact for those affected by cancer.
