Stoney Creek’s Easter Purdys Fundraiser is Live! Click here to see items for sale and to place orders: https://fundraising.purdys.com/campaign/000022367. Note that the order deadline is March 24, 2026. Orders will be available for pick up at the school between March 31 and April 1 – will confirm exact pick up details closer to the date.
Council Baked Pretzel Fundraiser – Join us after school for delicious freshly baked pretzels on Tuesday, February 24! Pre-order is required on munchalunch.com. Once you log in, click on “Fundraising Open!” to place your order. Note that orders are due by February 23rd and pretzels can be picked up on Tuesday, February 24 at 3:00 pm in the Community Room.
Big Brothers/Sisters Teen Mentorship Afterschool Program – We have a few spaces available for the Big Brothers Teen Mentorship Afterschool program. This free program runs every Monday from 3-4:30 pm in the Community Room and students are matched with a fully-trained high school volunteer for mentorship, fun activities (crafts, games, sports) and to help build social skills. If you are interested in this program for your child(ren), please fill out this form.
We will reach out to you with registration information if we are able to offer your child a space. Students must commit to attend every Monday from now until June. For more information on the Big Brothers Teen Mentorship program, please visit their website here.
Free Parent Presentation with Dr. Deborah MacNamara: “From Screens to Peers: Holding Onto Our Kids In A World That Pulls Them Away“. Dr. MacNamara will discuss issues from the lens of developmental science as they relate to peer problems and how parents are the ultimate answer for what teens need most of all.
This event takes place the evening of Tuesday, February 17 at Burnaby North Secondary. It has been organized by the PACs of Burnaby North and Burnaby Mountain Secondary Schools, and open to parents at Stoney Creek (particularly targeted to parents of students in Gr. 6 and 7).
