Fun Fair Wristband and Ticket Sales Open on Munchalunch – the deadline to place orders is 11:59pm Tuesday, May 20th for advance purchases. Note that you can also pay at the door the day of the event.
Adult Volunteers Needed for Fun Fair – Stoney Creek’s Biggest Fundraiser & Community Event! Stoney Creek’s Fun Fair (school carnival) is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it a success! This is our school’s largest fundraiser of the year, and every dollar raised goes straight back to Stoney Creek to support important school initiatives and resources that benefit all of our students.
We’re lucky to have a great group of high school volunteers helping to run the stations, but we still need adult volunteers to help supervise and keep things running smoothly. If you can spare even just 1 hour of your time, it would make a huge difference!

Lee’s Donuts Pre-Orders available to the community for anyone who would like to pre-order donuts for the Fun Fair. Pre-orders are half-dozen or a dozen donuts and can be picked up at the Community Room on Friday, May 23 between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. The deadline for orders is Wednesday, May 21st at 11:59 pm. Payment will be at pick up (card only!). Click here to add your pre-orders to the list. Note that Lee’s Donuts will also have a table selling donuts during the Fun Fair.
Creekside’s Glam Group! Calling all girls (including those who use she/her pronouns or identify as allies)! Join us for a fun, supportive, and empowering group designed just for pre-teens between the ages of 11 – 13. This program is starting on Thursday, May 22 for 5 weeks from 3:00 – 5:30 pm. Are You Moving? As we begin our planning for September it is very helpful for us to know about families who do not plan to attend Stoney Creek Community School in September.
If you are definitely moving this summer, please let us know by emailing franca.spartano@burnabyschools.ca with the following Information:
- Your child’s name, grade, and current teacher name
- The name of the new school or school district
